Solid Applied Technologies Ltd. - Level Measurement sensors - SmartLite

 Innovative ultrasonic level measurements...

SmartLite™ is a non contact, ultrasonic,
continuous level measurement instrument that is
able to provide accurate measurements for liquids
while automatically compensating for changes in
temperature and other environmental conditions.
SmartLite™ is designed for applications such as
process tanks, storage vessels, open air piles, and more.
SmartLite™ is a four wire, low voltage device, and is available
with a customized graphic LCD display.
SmartLite™ has two major components, the main control unit
and the sensor.

 Advantages

  • Installation in process tanks,  storage vessels, open air piles and more.
  • Self-adjustment to virtually all types of conditions
  • Full compensation in virtually all environments: vapors, gases, temperature variations, wind, etc. providing highest accuracy even under extremely harsh conditions
  • 0.25% accuracy of measuring range
  • For ranges of up to 10 meters (32 ft)
  • Resolution: 1 mm (0.04 inch)
  • No calibration or maintenance required

 Features

  • 4-wire low voltage device
  • Customized graphic LCD display
  • Coated Aluminum (ECTFE-Halar), PP/PVDF sensor
  • Temperature: -40° to 80° C ( -40° to 176° F)
  • Relays: 2 SPDT relays
  • Integrating 4 modules:
    • Standing wave control transmits a fixed pulse and frequency at constant voltage, enabling the instrument to receive a similarly controlled oscillation where each wave is identifiable.
    • Dynamic and static echo control features an innovative algorithm enabling automatic (dynamic) identification, learning and storage in memory of disturbances and noises without human intervention.
    • Temperature control rapidly compensates for changes in temperature and corrects the reading accordingly.
    • Gain control's special algorithm enables full monitoring of signal amplification received from the sensor, and ensures an accurate and reliable reading even in the presence of gases or vapors.
